Bruna Pereira is a multidisciplinary artist from São Paulo, Brasil, whose work focuses on the body and its connection to memory, introspection and politics. Be it with a brush, ink, thread, or a camera, she merges her research interests with her emotions, especially around topics of womanhood and Afro-Brazilian culture. Her main ongoing project investigates the stories of women in her family who are domestic workers, drawing parallels with racial and gender issues in the country. On top of sustaining an arts practice, Bruna assists various arts events and installations with logistics and curation. Bruna is finishing her Art & Art History degree from New York University Abu Dhabi, where she continues to expand her practice across different media and parts of the world.
